    Buying with protected checkout

Understand payment safeguarding, merchant fulfilment, buyer confirmation, and what to do if something is wrong.

This is the buyer's view of an ArosaPay transaction: what you pay, what the seller sees, what you are expected to do, and how to raise a problem before settlement is released.

    Paying

You receive a payment link or reach checkout on a merchant's site. The transaction states what is being bought, the amount, and the review window. After you pay, the transaction shows payment safeguarded.

Only pay through the ArosaPay transaction. A request to pay a seller directly on the side sits outside the record and cannot be reviewed.

    While the seller fulfils

The transaction moves to ready for fulfillment. When the seller records fulfilment, it moves to awaiting buyer confirmation and your review window starts. You can see the window and the remaining time on the transaction.

    After delivery

    • If the order matches what was agreed, confirm receipt — see Confirming receipt.
    • If something is wrong, report the problem before the window closes — see Reporting a problem.
    • If the window closes with no confirmation and no reported problem, the transaction moves to release pending.
