    Confirming receipt

How to confirm an order, what confirmation commits you to, and what happens straight afterwards.

    Buyers1 min read

Confirming receipt tells ArosaPay that the order matches what was agreed. It is the buyer action that moves a transaction from awaiting buyer confirmation into release pending.

    How to confirm

    1. 01

      Open the transaction

Find it in your purchases, or use the link you were sent.

    2. 02

      Check the summary

Confirm the item, amount and seller match what you received.

    3. 03

      Confirm receipt

The transaction moves to release pending immediately.

    What confirmation commits you to

Confirmation is the signal that releases settlement. Once a transaction has moved past release pending, the review path is no longer available for that transaction, so only confirm after you have actually checked the order.

If only part of the order is wrong

Do not confirm and then raise the problem separately. Report it on the transaction while the window is open, describing exactly what is missing or incorrect — see Reporting a problem.
